"JET" (rear cockpit) "JET", aka Louisiana, was born in Louisiana, grew up outside of Philadelphia, and was schooled in Europe. While training with the French and American National Ski Teams, she attended the University of Grenoble, in France, studying Law and Political Science. Aviation has been an ever-present backdrop to Jet's busy life: beginning in childhood, when her father founded the Sikorsky helicopter company, to her own LearJet in Europe - used for business travel, to her current pilot training in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Raising four children - Sasha, Kumara, Tara and Laurence - has kept "JET" totally immersed in education, athletics and many volunteer charitable organizations. While living in California, she taught French & Latin, and helped translate an unpublished book by Maria Montessori. An inveterate student, "JET's" presently studying Applied Kinesiology and Acupuncture. For joy and relaxation, she snowboards with the kids and enjoys travelling and entertaining.
